Sundarvan, a nature discovery centre, under the central government in Ahmedabad will observe the National Wildlife Week from October 2-8. Several activities will be organised as part of the event to create awareness amongst youngsters.
Deep Shah, education officer of Sundarvan, said, “The week will begin with a talk and a movie screening on wildlife conservation from 5-7 pm.

On October 2, a teachers’ training session on sustainability and biodiversity would be organised from 1 p m to 5 pm.”

However, if you are interested in exploring nature in the wild, you can opt for a day trip to Bakore forest on October 6. “While the other two activities are open for all, there are limited seats for the Sunday trip. We will start at 6 am and return by 10 pm,” he added.
